The City of Whitney will host a “Pumpkin Crawl” Halloween event Saturday, October 28, with trick-or-treating, a street party and more in downtown Whitney.
Downtown trick-or-treating with local businesses will begin at 3 p.m., and carved pumpkins for a contest can be dropped off between 3 and 5:45 p.m. at the “pumpkin patch” on the corner of Jefferson and Brazos Streets.
At 5 p.m., Brazos Street downtown will be blocked off and a street party will begin and continue through 7:30 p.m. There will be trunk-or-treating, first responders with their vehicles and more.
