The Hill County Historical Commission will hold its final meeting of the year Thursday, December 7, in the meeting room of Still Smokin’ BBQ on Interstate 35 in Abbott.
The presentation will begin at approximately 6 p.m., when Abbott historian Margaret McKown will present a program on the history of the town.
All interested individuals are invited to attend and come early to eat. Fellowship around the table will begin at approximately 5 p.m. Each person will pay for their own meal at the restaurant.
Meal attendance is not required to attend the program.
