The Whitney Wildcat Football League has been raising funds to repair the track at Baker Field.
Joe Corson, one of the main drivers of the project, recently spoke at a school board meeting on the importance of a public track to our community and youth. “Our community has donated a little over $4,000,” he reported. “We have a long way to go, but I’m hoping as people get to know me and see what I’m trying to accomplish for our town and the families that live here there will be even more support.”
Donations may be made via Venmo at @WWFLWildcat or contact Corson at 254-415-5205
