The Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its 69th annual awards banquet to be held Thursday, April 11.
Nominations will be accepted for citizen of the year, chamber member of the year, educator of the year, young person of the year and Hall of Fame.
Those submitting nominations should provide information about why the individual should receive the award, how the nominee has made a difference in the community, examples of the person’s volunteerism or advocacy and other information that should be shared with the committee.
All nominations must be received by 4 p.m. Monday, April 1. Information can be emailed to the chamber at info@lakewhitneychamber.com.
The nominator will be requested to introduce the winner on the evening of the awards banquet.
