Ten digital billboards have been launched in the Houston area asking the public for tips in the effort to apprehend the murderer of Whitney teen Louise Wilson.
Wilson, 17, was shot and killed in a road rage incident on I-45 in Houston on Sunday, December 10, while traveling to Galveston.
Houston Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $20,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of Wilson’s killer. According to Houston news outlet KHOU, the billboard space was donated by Clear Channel Outdoors and features Wilson’s picture and a sketch of her killer.
He has been identified as a light-skinned black male in his mid-20s with short, dreadlock-style hair partially dyed blonde. He was driving a newer model, black four-door sedan.
The teenager’s parents, Daniel and Krista Wilson, spoke at a press conference in January and thanked those who raised money for the reward. “When you chose to spray my daughter with bullets, that’s when you lost your right to live freely among society,” Krista Wilson said.
Anyone with information is being encouraged to call Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
