State Representative Angelia Orr is encouraging affected residents in her district to report recent storm damage.
Governor Greg Abbott recently held a press conference to address the state’s response to the recent storms across Texas. The state and federal government will now assess the damage caused by these storms, and affected residents are encouraged to complete the Texas Department of Emergency Management’s iSTAT self-reporting damage survey, in addition to reporting the damage to their insurance companies.
Completing the iSTAT survey will help state and local officials identify damages and determine the state’s eligibility for federal and disaster assistance. Find out more at tdem.texas.gov.
Texans can access flood information at TexasFlood.org, find flood preparedness tips at TexasReady.gov, check road conditions at DriveTexas.org, and locate severe weather resources at tdem.texas.gov. “During times of severe weather, it is vitally important for us all to have a plan for our families and to look out for our neighbors,” said Orr. “Please reach out to my office at 512-463-0600 if you need any assistance navigating these resources.”
Rep. Orr is in her first term in the Texas House of Representatives representing District 13, which includes Hill, Bosque, Falls, Limestone, Freestone, Leon and a portion of McLennan counties.
