The City of Whitney is inviting Whitney residents to answer a survey that will assist city administration in planning the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget.
The six-question survey will allow those paying city taxes to provide input about their priorities and how they recommend their tax dollars be spent.
Those responding will have the opportunity to write about the issues that matter most to them, service areas that they find most and least important, and whether they would prefer their taxes lower with less city services, higher with more city services, or if they would like taxes and services to stay about the same.
Respondents will need to enter their city water bill account number or property ID number from the Hill County Appraisal District to finish the survey and verify that they are a Whitney resident.
The survey can be accessed at https://bit.ly/WhitneyBudget, or click the link on the City of Whitney Facebook page.
