The voter registration deadline for new voters planning to cast a ballot on the November 5 election date is Monday, October 7.
Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30th day before election day.
To confirm voter registration status, Texans can visit the Texas Secretary of State’s “Am I Registered?” portal, which allows them to look up their voter registration record in the statewide voter registration database.
Those who have recently changed their name or moved can also update their voter registration online through Texas.gov.
To register to vote, return an application to the county elections office by the deadline. Applications are available at the elections office or can be filled out and printed at votetexas.gov.
For additional information or questions about registering, contact the Hill County Elections Administration Office at 254-582-4072 or visit the office at the Hill County Covington Street Annex, located at 126 South Covington Street in Hillsboro.
Bosque County residents can contact the Bosque County Elections Office at 254-435-6650 or stop by in person at 104 West Morgan in Meridian.
