The Whitney City Council will meet in a special session Thursday, April 3, at 6 p.m.
The council will consider a development agreement between the city and Baker Opportunity Properties for approximately 58 acres of land to become the Lakewood Acres Subdivision in the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.
A variance to the city’s sign regulations will also be considered for Baker Opportunity Properties at 708 South Colorado Street.
The council will also consider a resolution authorizing professional services provider selection for the Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program.
The meeting will be held at the Lake Whitney Public Library, located at 602 East Jefferson Avenue.
