Enrollment for the Hill College 2025 Kids College, a summer enrichment camp for students entering the first through eighth grades in the fall 2025 semester, is open. Courses will be held at both the Hill County and Johnson County campuses.
The Johnson County Campus (JCC) camp will run June 2 through June 5; the Hill County Campus (HCC) camp will run June 23 through June 26.
“Kids College is a great opportunity for young students to begin exploring their future academic and professional careers, offering project-based and collaborative activities that cross all of the college’s career pathways,” said Job Training & Workforce Partnerships Coordinator Tammy Logan.
Students have a wide variety of classes to choose from that fall under the college’s four career pathways—Arts & Humanities, Business & Industry, Health & Public Services and STEM. Tuition is $120. Lunch is included.
A new Esports course will be offered this summer at the HCC campus for those entering the sixth through eighth grades. Other course offerings include sign language, needlecraft, Spanish, reading and writing classes, math, back yard habitats, a variety of sports programs, 3D printing, cosmetology, criminal law, nursing, rodeo and an automotive course, among others.
“Thank you for the many years of support and joy you have provided with your program,” a former Kids College attendee recently wrote.
The registration deadline for the JCC is May 16; the registration deadline for HCC is June 6.
