Hillsboro Main Street has scheduled this year’s Churrofest for Saturday, May 17, in downtown Hillsboro.
This year, over 100 vendors will be present in total, with a wide variety of food trucks and 12 vendors competing for the best churro items; churro donuts, churro milkshakes, churro cheesecake nachos and more will be available for purchase.
From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., inflatables will be up for the kids, along with bounce houses, pony rides, face-painting, games on the courthouse lawn and more.
A margarita walk will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for those over 21 years of age. For $30, participants will receive a glass and access to taste and vote on their favorite margarita.
Live concert performances will be held on the square, beginning with Kenneth Cox at 5 p.m., followed by Hillsboro Worship at 6 p.m., Jerry Deleon & Southbound at 7 p.m., Tercera Alianza at 8 p.m. and the world-famous Paul Wall at 9 p.m.
