Tickets are on sale for the Whitney Volunteer Fire Department’s pellet smoker drawing giveaway, set for Saturday, September 13.
In addition to the drawing, the VFD will hold a barbecue sale with brisket priced at $15 per pound, sandwiches for $10, and $125 for a whole brisket.
The event will run from 11 a.m. until supplies are sold out, with the drawing to be held at 2 p.m.
KHBR 1560 AM will be on-site for a live broadcast from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pre-orders are available for the barbecue and may be placed by calling 254-205-4998. Tickets for the drawing are being sold at a price of $5 per ticket, or $100 for 22 tickets.
