Whitney High School sophomore Raley Seale was one of 60 female cadets selected to lead the United States Navy’s 250th Homecoming Parade Monday, October 13, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Seale is a member of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps and joined 200 total cadets who were selected for the honor of being a flag bearer.
Cadets carried flags representing the United States, all 50 states, the military branches, the Pentagon flag, the original American flags and a 9-11 memorial wreath.
The event ended with a Blue Angels flyover and is part of a week of events celebrating the birthday of the Navy and Marines. The parade was televised nationally on Disney+, Hulu, Fox and ABC.
