Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery program that meets every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro.
Organizers say that the program is for anyone with “hurts that haunt our hearts, hang ups that cause us pain and habits that mess up our lives and that we just cannot seem to control.”
The recovery system combines the dynamics of small groups, sponsors and accountability partners to build recovery for those struggling with addictive habits, codependency, childhood hurts, grief, divorce, anger, anxiety or other life experiences and failures that affect peace.
Also offered on the same night and time is Celebration Place, a tried and proven system of healing that helps children struggling with hurt from childhood experiences. It provides a safe environment for children to discover their own pathway to healing.
Children will embark on a journey of songs, games, videos, impactful experiences, friendships and conversations about Jesus.
Central Baptist Church is located at 1100 Old Bynum Road in Hillsboro. Anyone interested is invited to attend a meeting.
