Leading up to the “Battle of Hill County” football game scheduled for Friday night, Whitney Mayor Janice Sanders is challenging Hillsboro Mayor Scott Johnson with a friendly wager. Sanders said that if Hillsboro wins the football game, she will wear a Hillsboro Eagle shirt and hat to the following Whitney City Council meeting. If the Wildcats win, Sanders encourages Mayor Johnson to wear a Whitney shirt to the following Hillsboro City Council meeting.
