Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas, in collaboration with the Hillsboro Economic Development Corporation and the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, is hosting the Hill County Hiring Fair Thursday, August 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Historic City Hall in Hillsboro.
Over 25 local businesses are set to participate, offering hundreds of job openings for job seekers. This event is free for both job seekers and employers.
Employers such as Johns Manville, IKO Southwest, Homestead Nursing and Rehab and many other local businesses will be present.
Attendees will have the opportunity to fill out job applications on site. It’s recommended to bring resumes, dress professionally and be ready for on-site interviews.
Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas offers a wide range of services for businesses and job seekers across its six-county service area, which includes Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone and McLennan counties. It is one of 28 local workforce development boards funded and directed by the Texas Workforce Commission.
