Practitioner Lesa Ansell is an experienced nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience. She previously had her own practice in Cedar Hill but sold it to move out of the bustling city life.
HoneyBee Medspa describes their services offered as follows:
Hormone pellets – A great solution for men and women to relieve various symptoms such as lack of energy, fatigue, brain fog, night sweats, lack of sex drive and more. Men average about 6-9 months from their pellets, and women will get about 3-4 months.
During the consult, patient history will be discussed, annual labs will be completed, and then insertion will be scheduled the following week. Labs are $170, and the pellets are $330 for women and $650 for men.
Weight loss shots – HoneyBee Medspa offers Semaglutide and tirzepatide shots — compound versions of Ozempic and Mounjaro. These are weekly injections that will curb an individual’s appetite and cravings, with many patients losing anywhere from five to 10 pounds a month. What distinguishes HoneyBee’s program from many others is that every month the patient will have a consult with the qualified nurse practitioner to review diet and lifestyle recommendations to maximize their success on the shot. HoneyBee also equips them with the skills and modifications they need to make to keep the weight off after the shot.
Filler – Dermal fillers can be used in multiple parts of the face to achieve a variety of results, such as plumper lips, defined jawlines, softening the under eye and restoring lost volume
Botox and Jeveau – HoneyBee offers two different neurotoxins. Jeveau is preferred, as patients receive $40 off every 90 days – which is the time that these products last. Botox and Jeveau are well-known products to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They can also help with TMJ pain/teeth grinding. The most common areas include wrinkles between the eyebrows, on the forehead around the eyes (“crows feet”) and for lip flips. Jeveau is $11 per unit, and Botox is $13 per unit.
Microneedling – This is the premier treatment to help with skin tightness by stimulating the body to produce collagen and elastin. It can also help minimize the appearance of wrinkles on the face and neck as well as help with hyperpigmentation or acne scars. HoneyBee also offers PRP.
