Whitney High School students Carson Griffith and Mason Seely each received $150 scholarships for winning third place during a fishing tournament at Stillhouse Hollow Lake Sunday, October 10. Their fish weighed in at a combined total of more than 12 pounds for their five catches on the two-person team. They are members of the newly formed Whitney High School fishing program consisting of six teams with two student anglers each and one boat captain.
