July 21, 2022 At the July 2nd “Honoring America's Heroes" event in Whitney, the Whitney VFW Post 12176 Auxiliary had a "guess how many candies are in the jar" contest. The winner of the jar, with a guess of 1,700, is sixth grader Allison Wilson of Whitney. The total number of candies was 1,776.
